The checkout is designed with performance in mind. AJAX requests are kept to a minimum and are triggered only where they are actually required. On a normal page refresh, the checkout does not unnecessarily reload everything through AJAX, helping avoid excessive requests, slow responses, and unnecessary server load.

There is also no need to modify OpenCart core files. The module does not rely on OCMOD modifications and does not require users to manually refresh modification or cache files after installation.
